Israel Moves to Ban Import, Export of Furs for all Non-religious Uses

On Sunday 7 February 2010 the Ministerial Committee on Law & Constitution in Israel voted to ban the import and export of all fur, except that designated for religious or traditional use.

Design Against Fur 2009 International Animation Competition Winners Announced

On 30 December 2009 the winners of the DAF 2009 interntational animation competition were announced.  The competition is organised in the UK by Respect for Animals and is run globally by the Fur Free Alliance.

The winners are:

1st Place: Liu Xiaofu, China

2nd Place: Casper Christensen, Denmark

3rd Place: Daniel Clark, UK
