2008 winners announced.

Respect for Animals is pleased to announce the 2008 UK & Ireland competition winners.

The judging took place in central London on 11 July.  The judges were:

Harry Barlow, director, Harry Barlow Limited which undertakes issue based campaigns for local authorities, trade unions, charities and pressure groups.

Theresa Dowling, editor in chief of FX magazine and X2 which specialise in the serious and funky interior design of public spaces, hotels, offices, and all contract applications.

Fergal Kilroy, student awards manager for D&AD. D&AD is an educational charity that represents the global creative, design and advertising communities.

Sairey Stemp fashion editor of Cosmopolitan UK, one of the best selling women’s consumer magazines in the world, selling over 460,000 copies each month.  Both Sairey and Shelly Vella, Cosmopolitan’s fashion director, have a strict ‘no fur’ policy within the fashion department of the magazine.

After much deliberation the following students’ designs were chosen to receive prizes.
