The Richard Adams Prize of a high specification digital camera was won by Mark Silver who also received a certificate of Special Commendation.

An exhibition of the winning designs took place between Tuesday 14 June and Sunday 19 June at The Foundry, 86 Great Eastern Street, London EC2, telephone number 020 7739 6900, http://www.foundry.tv . The exhibition was free and open to everyone.

The winner of the 2005 International prize was Kristie Kinch from James Madison University, Virginia, in the United States, who won $5000 and an all expenses paid trip to Rome to collect her prize.

Her depiction of the message, a pool of splattered dark red blood on an otherwise pristine white floor, showing animal footprints walking to the blood, and human footprints walking away, really caught the eye of the judges for its subtle interpretation of the stark truth behind the legend ‘fur is cruel’.  To view the image please visit http://www.infurmation.com
