Ms Smith made a heartfelt speech about her commitment to animal welfare and complimented the students on their work. Many of the winning students and their parents, friends and family attended the ceremony.
Fiona Brown represented the Persula Foundation and presented their special award to the student whose work they thought most deserving. This too was presented to Hollie Woodhams, the first prize winner.
