Design Against Fur is an international graphic design competition which provides students with an opportunity to produce a thought provoking, creative campaign poster that delivers a compassionate animal protection message.
Nicki Brooks, director of Respect for Animals, said today of the winning design by Hollie Woodhams of Swindon College: “Hollie is a well deserved winner of this year’s competition. She has clearly interpreted the competition brief and her design shows a good understanding of the appalling treatment of animals killed in the name of fashion, underlining the important message that real fur is both cruel and unnecessary.”
.
This year’s winners will receive a cash prize and will be invited to add their portfolio to the D&AD talentpool. All four winning artworks, plus seven Specially Commended and 12 Commended artworks, will have their artwork showcased in the dreamspace gallery in London and will receive certificates for their portfolios.
